Compliance rules

MYC is a regulated claims brand (SRA-regulated Benson Goldstein Ltd). These are non-negotiable in every asset:

1. Every figure carries its qualifier. £829*, £1,658**, No Win No Fee*** — the marker must resolve to a visible footnote on the same asset. Figures must be consistent across ad, link preview and landing page.
2. Hedge every outcome. "Could be owed", "where appropriate", "compensation is not guaranteed". Never promise a payout or timeline.
3. The free-route disclosure is mandatory: "You do not need to use a Claims Management Company (CMC) or a Law Firm. You can complain directly for free to your lender, use the FCA consumer redress scheme or if unsuccessful the Financial Ombudsman Service. Solicitor fees, if used, are up to 15% - 30% excluding VAT of any successful claim."
4. The identity disclosure is mandatory: "Make Your Claim is a trading name of Benson Goldstein Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14417365), authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under SRA No. 8003245."
5. Scheme status note (while suspended): "The motor finance redress scheme is currently suspended. These figures do not represent a live entitlement. Successful complaints are unlikely to receive compensation until 2027."
6. Fee bands, verbatim where fees are stated: £1–£1,499 → 30% (max £420) · £1,500–£9,999 → 28% (max £2,500) · £10,000–£24,999 → 25% (max £5,000) · £25,000–£49,999 → 20% (max £7,500) · £50,000+ → 15% (max £10,000). All exclusive of VAT.

Every new marketing asset goes through the MYC ad compliance review before publication. Findings are subject to compliance sign-off (Javid).
